What a cute little Alsatian puppy this seems to be. But it's not. It is in fact a three-month-old Timber wolf. I had the privilege of meeting him at an outpost of Moscow zoo, where they breed rare species and look after abandoned animals.
This little chap was orphaned somewhere north of Moscow. He's fast – very fast – so it took a different shutter speed to stop him being all of a blur. He will be released when he's old enough to look after himself and integrate with an existing pack.
